

Guanajuato City, Mexico
While we were staying in San Miguel de Allende, we decided to take a day trip to the capital city in the region, Guanajuato City. Guanajuato City sits in a narrow valley at an altitude of 6,600 feet. Blessings in San Miguel
I had been in San Miguel de Allende no longer than three days when I came down with a bad case of travelers' diarrhea, or "Montezuma's Revenge." Not the image of vacation in Mexico anyone wants to conjure up, but it happens. A high fever and frequent trips to the toilet had me bedridden for two days straight. San Miguel de Allende
I love this mirror in my bedroom. We are renting an Air BnB house for two weeks with friends in San Miguel de Allende and this mirror is on our wall. It is made of tin. If you look closely you can see it is all handmade, the flowers on the white border are hand painted, and its imperfection is just perfect. The top reminds me of a headpiece on a Tropicana Girl. San Miguel de Allende has many artisans, and I am looking forward to exploring the area and finding a handmade mirro
